Gorillaz is a commercial project created by Damon Albarn & Jamie Hewlett. The project involves releasing music under a band named Gorillaz, which consists of fictional animated band members. Gorillaz is also known for it's extra non-music content, creating backstory, culture, & fandom around the animated band members.
