1889-1973

Nintendo was founded in 1889/9/23, by Fusajiro Yamauchi. Starting as a playing card producer.

In 1929, Nintendo experienced its first leadership transition when Fusajiro Yamauchi stepped down & his son-in-law, Sekiryo Yamauchi, took on the role as president.

In 1949/2/2, Sekiryo Yamauchi stepped down as president, for his grandson, Hiroshi Yamauchi, to take over & become the third president of Nintendo in 1949/4/25.
